Designated Coordinator/Manager

 

This position is for someone who wants to make a difference in our residents' lives. As a DC you will oversee the program coordination of the 2 Wadena homes. You will assure each resident is provided with the guidance, encouragement, support, security and safety while working on their independent living skills. You will serve as their advocate for their health and wellness needs. You will monitor and administer medication and medical treatments.

 

You will be coordinating and working directly with the residents, their legal guardians, county workers, rep payees, medical professionals and RLS's support team members. You will be implementing and monitoring the residents plans, outcomes and guiding them to fulfill their goals, hopes and dreams.

 

You will be encouraging resident inclusion into their community through vocation, social events and volunteering opportunities.

 

The Designated Coordinator works with their team members with recruiting, training, and coaching. You will be responsible to maintain the required documentation and record keeping for the program, the residents and your team members.

 

This is a full-time position on mainly weekdays. You will need to work limited overnights, evenings, weekends and holidays. You will also need to remain on call for emergencies.

Position is available immediately.

 

Requirements:

  • College degree or diploma as required per state regulations

  • Two years of full-time work experience in providing direct care services

  • One year of experience in a supervisory role

  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

  • Reliable transportation

  • Successfully meet the requirements of a background check

  • CPR/First Aid certification can be obtained after hire.
